Cool Mic v1.3.0 has been released today. This version’s big improvement is newly implemented functionality which gives you many more options for passing metadata to Icecast and your listeners.
Typically a source client allows two primary metadata fields “Title” and “Artist” to be passed to Icecast. Cool Mic now gives the following additional fields for your enjoyment and productivity, separated into “Track” and “Station” categories:
Track Metadata:
- Title
- Version
- Album
- Artist
- Performer
- Copyright
- License
- Organization
- Description
- Genre
- Location
- Contact
- Custom
Station Metadata:
- Name
- Genre
- URL
- Description
- IRC
Other improvements for v1.3.0 include:
